Pads for Peers

Breaking barriers. Ending period poverty.

Period poverty affects 1 in 10 girls every month. In the United States alone, almost 17 million people who need them lack access to menstrual hygiene products such as sanitary pads and tampons. Menstrual products cost at least $10 per month per person, which can be too expensive for many people. This lack of resources can lead to some young girls missing one or more days of school every month, affecting their education.

Our Mission

Our mission is to make comfortable and good-quality menstrual hygiene products available and accessible to students who need them and to cultivate a supportive and open culture around periods in these schools.
